On November 16, 2015 civics club students of Kutaisi public school №14 in cooperation with Kutaisi Mayor’s office, Opera House and local offices of human rights organizations marked the International Day of Tolerance. Students organized a costumed march in Central Boulevard of the city.

Costumes of various nationalities were provided by Opera House administration. The exhibition of students’ paintings also took place during the event.

The massage of the event was equality, tolerance and freedom. Representatives of the organization “Coalition for Independent Living” provided free consultations for local community members.

“I received a lot of information today about tolerance, I appreciate students’ opinion and think that tolerance should be valued by people, nations and countries”-said Sergo Talakvadze, one of the participants of the event, a resident of Kutaisi. The event was ended by a flash-mob show performed by students from school-based civics club. The event was supported by USAID-funded Momavlis Taoba Project, which is implemented by PH International.
