Civics club students of Momavlis Taoba program;s partner schools in Imereti region conducted informational campaign dedicated to the International Day for Preservation of the Ozone Layer. Teachers of Biology and Chemistry participated in informational sessions at schools and explained that the ozone layer, a fragile shield of gas, protects Earth from the harmful influence of sun rays, thus helping to preserve the life on planet.
Students prepared posters and flyers on climate change and disseminated them in communities; they also organized discussions to increase students; awareness about the global efforts addressing the climate change. The initiative was conducted in the framework of USAID-funded Momavlis Taoba Project, implemented by PH International.
