School-based civics clubs students from Guria, Samtskhe Javakheti, Adjara, Kakheti and Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti regions took part in different activities, such as workshops and discussions on ecology, greening and cleaning actions to mark Earth Day on April 22. By their activities, students emphasized the need of environmental protection to avoid ecological disaster.
Teachers, school administration officials, local government representatives and community members also took part in the activities together wit students. Events were held in the framework of USAID-funded Momavlis Taoba Project, which is implemented by PH International.
