On March 10, 2015 Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia hosted the first meeting of the Project Advisory Committee of “MomavlisTaoba project. Representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, USAID, PH International, Civic Education Teachers; Forum and Georgia School Student Unions; Alliance took part in the meeting to discuss the planned activities of “Momavlis Taoba project for the promotion of school-based civic education in Georgia.
The meeting aimed at enhancing cooperation between the parties for the achievement of MT goals. MT Chief of Party, Marina Ushveridze, presented annual work plan of the project.
After sharing information with each other, committee members agreed on the plans of future cooperation. Project Advisory Committee;s meetings will be held regularly to maintain coordination among different stakeholders involved in project implementation.
