Members of school-based civics clubs from different regions in Georgia marked Earth Day through diverse activities promoting environmental protection.
Earth Day is an annual global event held on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. Students from school-based civics clubs from MT different public schools participated in greening and cleaning actions organized locally, met with environmental specialists and promoted environmental protection among local community members.
Students will continue their efforts to protect the environment through maintaining close monitoring of environmental pollution in local areas.
