Members of the civics club “Skhivi” of Rokhi village public school in Baghdati Municipality successfully implemented many cognitive activities during their distance learning caused by COVID 19 pandemic. Among them were online meetings and
conferences.
The students invited well-known people to talk about topics which they were interested in. A live meeting on Europe and the European future with a writer, Lasha Bugadze focused on traditions and public attitude towards Europe.
The aim of the live was to raise public awareness about the EU and European values. Zurab Khizanishvili, a football player and the Assistant to the Head Coach of the Georgian youth football team joined the online meeting to promote a healthy
lifestyle.
He talked to the students about the importance of a healthy lifestyle, healthy nutrition and spots; and gave interesting recommendations to future football players.“It is a great experience for me to participate in such projects. It helps me to become more confident and get qualified answers to many questions that interest people of my age. We communicated with a lot of interesting people. My friends and I chose topics with great interest and diligence. After the meetings, we continued our discussions and conversations. We held many impressive and memorable activities. The advices of competent people help us to form our ideas correctly said Tako Ninua, an active member of the school-based civics club.
