The civics club students of the Aghaiani village public school initiated a project, which they titled “We Choose Equality, to raise public awareness about topics such as discrimination, equality, and tolerance. Tolerance is especially important in this village, as there are ethnic minorities living there.The students arranged an informal meeting at the school, during which Georgian and Azeri students discussed the importance of equality, created a newspaper and flyers and disseminated them in the community.Students also performed a flash mob in the schoolyard and painted the yard with colorful chalk, leaving messages about equality and tolerance.
