10th-grade students of village Chogha public school in Chkhorotsku municipality cooperated successfully with communit members, school administration and local government to improve school infrastructure, within a mini-grant project “School – Green, Clean Environment!”.
Through the joint efforts, a schoolyard was fenced, a square was arranged where flowers were planted, a garbage can was placed in the yard and a path to the school was asphalted.Within the project, students conducted cleaning and greening actions; initiated an information campaign, during which they informed the community about sanctions imposed on environmental pollution and disseminated leaflets on the importance of protecting the environment.
In addition, the students installed a banner calling on the community to keep the environment clean. Mini-grant project “School – Green, Clean Environment!”. Was implemented in the framework of USAID funded “Momavlis Taoba program.
