School-based civics club students in the village of Teseri in Khashuri municipality decided to arrange a small park at their school yard.The competition ;Our Yard; was announced at the school for the selection of the best design.The school administration supported students; initiative – provided the necessary equipment, materials and transportation.Through the joint efforts of students, teachers and school administration, the area for the park was fenced, the pavements and paths were arranged, the flowers and the decorative boxwood trees were planted.
We were happy to participate in the project, now we have a beautiful school yard. We will care about the environment in the future too; – said Tamar Abramishvili, a civics club leader.
